FoodBag and the environmental benefit!
We are very happy to now actively fight against food waste and save fresh portions of food together with FoodBag.
FoodBag is a new innovative app where you can find food that hasn’t been sold by the end of the day in a shop, at 55-75% off. From the beginning we found this project very interesting and with a clear environmental purpose and as we recognize that wasting food has very harmful effects on our planet.
Greece is unfortunately one of the first countries in the world to waste food and we must all take action on this problem. Statistics show that an average consumer in our country wastes 142 kg of food per year.
So we are happy to now be an active member of the anti-food waste and organized community, posting bags full of fresh food every day before our closing hour.
